Anyone ever watch these Matches on ESPN Classic?


I am watching Minnesota Fats and Luther lattiser play, and Fats just told the crowd , that right after masconi ran his 526 record that he( fats) ran 527 bank shots, he said" I didnt miss a bank for 17 hours"......then he gets to saying "uh oh luther you let me win this one on you" and hangs the 9 ball in the corner .....this cat is hilarious......

He keeps talking and the ref keeps saying " shoot the one ball fats" ..."shoot the 2 ball fats"...."play pool fats"......this stuff is so fun to watch


BTW Wimpy is killing him

Haven't seen Fats yet, although I'm looking forward to it. Other than that, I found the other guys somewhat boring.

If you see this episode you will be anything but bored LOL.....He does get beat bad though, wimpy beats him 4-0 in the 7 ball and 4-0 in the 9 ball, but fats keeps on talking. He startd about halway through the match.


You are right most of them are boring.

Fats was a great showman.........i was lucky enough to see him play in an exhibition when i was a teenager back around 1963........he was so funny always talking and cracking jokes...
