Clean pocket facings

After reading about it on here I finally got around to giving my cloth the warm damp rag treatment after vacuuming. Its made an amazing difference in the playability of my pockets. Balls that used to jaw and hang are falling, and this is especially true on shots I slug a little. Has anyone else found that cleaning the cloth on their facings made the pocket more receptive?

I thought my game was going on me. Guess I'm as green as my felt when it comes to this stuff.

No doubt it helps. I made a 100 plus run on my table a few weeks back and it had a lot to do with me cleaning the table cloth and facings. I think having just polished the balls was even a bigger factor though. This was not straight pool, I just threw 15 balls out and shot them off and repeated. I have not even come close since. If I need to stun a ball to get the cb to move a little and the balls and cloth are a little grippy they will rattle and hang. I don't like the balls super slick but it sure makes a difference on pro cuts if they are at least clean.
