I use the Aramith pool cleaner on the balls and was wondering if NOT cleaning the cue ball would allow more grip between the tip and the ball since it wont be as polished?

Your thoughts?

Yes, it can. Depends what kind of dirt, how much, how evenly distributed.

But it can also cause more throw when striking object balls and more spin off rails.

I wouldn't advise it.

It'd also end up causing more grip between the ball and felt, resulting in overall less spin/ball movement.
