Cleaning and sealing shafts

Hi there,

ive started in repairing shafts here in Germany.

I built me an mini lathe to change ferrels and tips and also like to clean shafts and seal them. But im not happy with the results by now.

For me, its no business to get rich, just a hobby, cause a love cues and pool.

What are you using to clean and seal shafts? Where can i get the materials needed?

I think most are using the Mr Clean Magic Eraser to clean the shaft and a modified lacquer based sanding sealer to seal it.
