Does anybody know a Safe & Easy way to Clean a Elephant Wrap installed on a cue without damaging it...?

My Dilemma is that I have a Elephant Ear wrap installed on a Custom Cue that
I managed to get Talc powder on like an Idiot and it has left a white film on the wrap that I cant seem to remove. I dont want to damage the wrap or use something that will discolor it in the cleaning process.

Any Help with this is Greatly Appreciated.

Thanks.....Paul

If it is just powder I would take my air compressor with blow gun attachment and do it that way.......

I guess you can try the can of air like you can get at staples however.... You must make sure that you do not get any of the aerosol liquid on the wrap it would for sure damage it

take a clean soft cotton cloth or towel;very lightly dampen it and gently roll it over the wrap in a circular rubbing motion .elephant ear will not be damaged by this ,as i have experienced this same problem with powder.

magic eraser?...just a thought...Iv'e never used it on elephant but I've used in on other leathers with success...

Try compressed air first. If you use any type of water method, you run the risk of it soaking into the leather pores, making it near impossible to remove.

Do not use magic eraser because it is abrasive. It can damage the wrap's feel.

If you absolutely need to use a 'wet' method, try a baby wipe first.
