cleaning GC metal feet and pocket frames

I would use flitz or mothers chrome polish you want something soft and smooth like a cream with no grit in it, most rubbing compounds are very coarse and gritty . You may need several rags to remove tarnish and do small area's comes out real nice.

I will your suggestion this week. Thanks.

How about types of paint for the legs/skirt of the table. Latex gloss a good choice?

This is not my area of expertise but it might help. Latex is water based and not that hard of a finish you would be better with oil based enamel in a high gloss 20% pigment and 80% hard resin or finish makes for a hard wearing finish. I used to run a Fuller O'Brian paint store 10 years ago there are alot of new paints out on the market ask some paint stores what the might recommend and check some wood stores out also.

I used to use a product called Fullerplast when I used to make archery equipment it was a hard yet flexable finish on compound bows and thier limbs $125.00 a gallon but worth it @ the time.

Good luck,
Craig
