Can anyone give any suggestions/tips on cleaning pool table cloth? I use a horse hair brush but just seems not to do the greatest job

I use a shop vac with the round horse hair attachment. The hair is about 2 inches long so you vac and brush at the same time. The hair is long enough where the vac doesn't suck up the cloth but still powerful enough to suck the chalk dust from the slate. I've used this method on my Simonis 860 for years. Works great with no problems. good luck!
