Cleaning the inside of Porper cases

So my old hard Porper case has accumulated alot of dirt and chalk in the shaft compartments over the years. Alas it's true, I never was diligent in wiping the chalk off the tips til recently.

What's the best way to clean those tight shaft compartments out in these tight-fit style cases? Thanks.

Get a big bore rifle cleaning kit?

Get a plastic hose that fits al the way down
Drill some holes in the sides of the hose close to the end.
Hook hose to a vacuum.

Yeah i was thinking of something that looks like an overgrown cigarpipe cleaner/brush and a vacuum cleaner but was curious if you guys better what works.
