I have a cue with a pretty nasty nick in the butt sleeve's finish. The nick appears to only be in the finish and not deep enough to reach the wood. My question is, Is there a good, easy way to fill this ding and bring the finish "back to life"? I've heard of people using some kind of crazy glue, but I'm not sure of the process. This cue doesn't have much value, so I'm not afraid of experimenting a little, I just need a nudge in the right direction. Thanks

If it is just a scratch you take Duro Quick Gel and run a line of it to fill the scratch. Walk off and leave it for several hours. Don't touch it or be impatient. Give it the few hours to totally dry, then wet sand it down flush and sand the butt sleeve down to 2000 grit sandpaper and buff the cue out with 3M Finess-it or some other buffing material. If it had a good hard finish on it to start with, it should like almost new now.
