well here are pics as promised , , i used a high end gun , its a beeze to use and clear flows out very well and atomizes great, does have orange peel but that was on me i should have gone slower , but shaft came smooth , i will wait a week then sand and polish :grin:

Looks really good for first try. A good gun sure helps.
There are two trains of thought on when to sand new clear. I've had custom car people tell me to wet sand next day then wait a few before buffing. And then the next guy tells me to wait. May depend if you shoot snap or standard clear coat.
May want to try both and see which you like best.
 
, thanks but ,not my first time spraying , i was just following up on another thread , using good equipment vs low end , here in Tex i can wetsand Sat if i wish , but im going to have other things to do so thats why i said a week ,but theres so many ways to get great results :thumbup:
 
If your in San Antonio i'd say you could sand and buff the next day with chroma. If anything its going to be much harder to do so a week later
