I would like to know whether this could/should be done. Recently purchased a new cue and would like to have this done while wrap is still new if it is feasible-let me know what you think, thanks,Jim

I can do it but it does require the entire butt to be refinished. Total cost is $130. $85 for the refinish, $35 for a new linen wrap, and $10 for the added labor.

Hello Jim, there are ways to get around a complete refinish of the cue. For new cues like your's I charge $40 to finish over the cues wrap. If I have to rewrap the cue, I charge $65. The process is not that complicated and any good cue repair person should be able to accomplish this task.

When I am talking about finish over the wrap, I would compare my work to a Muecci.

Have a great day!!!!!!
