Cloth cleaning question

Does anyone know how to get the chalk marks out of West of England cloth? I brush and iron, however from practicing line up I am seeing trails of the chalk in the cloth.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'm using emperial felt cleaner, and quick clean.

But the key really is to get it (and the chalk) off after you spray it on. The microfibre wiper from the quick clean works great for me. Don't like the quick clean so much as it seems to leave a residue on my strachan baize. So I only really use that on the spots. It'll probably take several applications for you before all your chalk marks are gone, but it'll get there.

cloth cleaning

if you dont have some special cleaner, a lightly damp cloth will pick up the dust, brush, cloth, then iron.
