I think it's only a problem if your really driving the shaft into the cloth and it's leaving a burn mark.Ah bummer... something else I have to consider if I get a CF shaft. Currently using both original shafts and a Predator-Z, so I did not know about this issue. Thanks for that info!
It has nothing to do with the shaft. Players mark up the tables by contacting the cloth with their tip and dragging it along the path of the cue ball. Cue tips might play a very small factor but regardless of the type of tip, those players will still mark up the cloth.Carbon shafts will mark the cloth.
I have powder blue on my home table. It is fantastic for seeing the balls clearly (much better thanThe Powder Blue used to be used alot years ago. I remember seeing the Mosconi Cup playing on it.
You might consider Apple Green. It's a brighter shade of green if the standard Simonis 860 Green is too dark. Attached are pics of both Powder Blue and Apple Green.
or grayANYTHING except RED, BLACK or PURPLE.
Personally a fan of the light grey. Not sure why.or gray
gray ok...or pink
My fave...I really like the gray.
please don't change what I originally wrote, that's not right!fixed.
gray ok...
A poolroom with anything other than Simonis green or Tournament blue would just not look right to me, although I accept that camel/gold and light gray are both very good colors to play on.Grey
Gray looks gloomy, blue looks awesome!I liked the grey on mine but when it was time to change, I wanted 860HR and the only choices at that time were TB or TG. I ended up buying a new table and decided to stick with the TB. The Grey table below is mine, the blue is a bar shot.
