how hard is it to restretch 860 cloth on my 8ft table for some reason it is loose from when it was put in... also the best way to fix it would be great

Not at all

It isn't hard to stretch it at all. Take your rails off and strech it from the short sides of the table. That way all your pockets stay lined up and you don't have to re-felt the whole thing. They didn't put mine on tight enough to begin with on my table either. Most of these guys are used to putting on a cheaper cloth and not able to pull it as tight as Simmonis. You can pull it pretty darn tight if you want to, cause Simmonis stretches a lot! Just be careful of what your doing, and make sure you get it evenly tight all the way around.

How long ago did the installers put it on? I got mine out here the very next week to re-stretch it for free. So if it hasn't been to long maybe you could have them come back and do it right.

depends

It depends on how fast you like your cloth. I had them pull mine super tight. So that when I put my bridge hand down on the table I couldn't grab the cloth in my hand. It is up to you though. I would think that since it has only been six months you could get them to retighten it. I would tell them that they didn't get it tight enough and it is loose. They ought to come out and fix it I would think.

Simonis is a whole nother breed of cloth.

It HAS to be stretched tight as it will stretch quickly.

When you felt the rails they better have ripples in them or they will get so loose in a few months they will pucker....

I wrap the felt in my fingers as tight as I can and lean back as hard as I can and get a few staples in it to hold it.

Technically, you could lay the felt on the table and trim it to where you could see over 1" of slate on the table, and they is just about right for how much you are going to stretch it.

Just do it evenly and try to make sure all of the fiber marks in the felt don't get wavy from being stretched unevely...

I have Championship Tour Edition on my 9' table and I stretched it so tight I was scared it was going to rip don the center when I was pulling it! But, it is the fastest best rolling table I have ever played on...

My CTE edition is about 10% quicker than Simonis. My buddy has Simonis 760 on his GCIII and the first time he played on my table I asked him to lag. His lag came all the way down and went half the way back. On his table it would have froozen...
