Cloth recommendation???

Simonis 860...I've had it on a couple of my practice tables. And it does take English very well.
But jump shots and shots close to the rail jacked up make sooo many burn marks in the cloth. It look like crap only after a few weeks of play. I suggest the 760 wears better and a little faster than the 860. Best of luck with your choices. Tourney 30/30 nice and fast but might be too fast for a bar box.

Interesting, I'm considering putting a table in my basement. What is it about Centennial that makes it more moisture resistant?

From the demonstration I seen, the person squirted a water bottle on the table and the water beads up and does not go through the cloth and then its wiped right off. Its the teflon and the fact that the cloth is woven so tightly were the explanations I was given and was also explained the benefits of better cosistency in play.

I think maybe they should be advertsiing this for the cloth instead of being "Billy Proof". What real pool player is gonna spill something on a pool table and if your kid was stupid enough to spill on your new table, time to give them up for adoption :)

It is impregntated with Teflon. I've not seen a table with this on it yet, so have now idea how it plays compared to Simonis or how well it wears over time. However given that Brunswick are one of the few big sponsors in Pro pool (Especially the WBPA) I would imagine it will not be long before their financial muscle gets Centennial on tables is a major tournament so the Pros will have something else to whine about ;-)
