Whats the difference between a club table and a match table?

At 16:26 commentator says, "That's the difference between a club table vs a match table?"

I can make some assumptions but don't understand the British or European lingo.

If you look at ultimate pool matches on YouTube you can clearly see the difference in tables.
Actually I believe it is more about English vs. American tables .
English tables are generally smaller, pocket openings are quite different.
No diamonds on English tables.
The profile of the rails are different.
English balls are smaller with the cueball being smaller than the object balls.

I quite like the English version. Matches are short. I think the pool world would benefit from some of the things done in the UK version.( basically the shot clock & match time limits)

I’ve been watching Ultimate pool for a couple years now and actually understand all the English lingo ; )

Seems commentators say stuff just because they get paid to say stuff : /

Cool story bro, although your assumptions are off base. The reference of a club table vs a match table is referring to conditions of table. I.E. Match tables are freshly covered in new cloth, new balls. Club tables are cloth worn in from frequent play.

I’d agree with your explanation in the context of what the commentator said .
I was more looking at differences between the U.S.
Louisiana tournament tables and those used in the UK.
I think quite a few of us in the U.S. don’t really understand the difference between the two versions.
