Coach vs. Instructor

Hi Jennifer:
This is kind of an esoteric question, so I'd like your
opinion from a professional point of view. Is there
any difference between an instructor and a coach?
Can they do the same thing for one's game learning
ability? Is one favored over the other, or are they
the same? Just curious.

Thanks,

Karin Anne

Speaking of coaching...

Hi Karin,

They are the same. Basically just someone who will keep you on the right path of learning.

Good luck!

Jenn

Hi Jenn,

I have watched your matches on the television and noticed something that might help a bit. I am sure you have a coach and probably already know this for sure, but here goes anyway...I noticed that you usually go from shot to shot in a manner of moving from the last shot to the next by walking to the next shot and then just dropping down and proceeding to pocket the ball and so on and so on... Occasionally you will arrive at the next shot and then stand up from a backed off position and then approach the shot in a forward and down to the shot manner...However, you seem to only do this when the current shot is a tough shot. Perhaps if you were to do this on all shots then your results would be even more positive than they already are...just wanting to help out...

Good luck and most of all...Have Fun...

Mr. J.

Thanks, Mr. J.

Your advice is most likely good since Mika Immonen once told me the same thing. Once I get rolling I forget to do it, but I'll have to work on it.
