Coarse linen question

I had my R6 rewrapped as the original was torn in a few places. The original was super coarse, I loved it. When I had it rewrapped I asked for it to be coarse. It was, for a while. Now it's getting smooth and I'm not a fan. Is there anyway to make my wrap coarse again?

i know what your saying...i have a schon and the linen has a texture to it that other schons dont have for some reason.....

i think it might be because i ocassionally(once a month or so) take a damp rag and wipe the wrap with it...to get some of the dirt up??? maybee thats the trick to getting a rougher feeling linen over time..
i like the linen but ive always wanted cork wrap on this stick so i think im gonna have cork installed

my other cues i dont play with usually so i dont clean them like this.

another idea....
possibly you might mess your cue up(ive never tried it myself) hit it lightly with a scotch brite pad???

scotch brite works just fine or some medium grit sandpaper. You can lightly steam the wrap with an iron, and then pass the scotch brite
