I would like to know from you cue makers. Is it possible to coat a leather wrap just a you would the Irish linen wraps. I have a cue that the top coat of the finish is coming off. I would like to re-coat it but also coat the leather wrap I put on it. Is it possible to do this or is it just a waste of time to do it. I really like the cue but would prefer the no wrap feel. Can anyone give me any advice on this, what is the best finish to use and the best way to apply it.

I can't think of any sane reason why you would want to do that.
I would discourage it personally. With how some leathers are treated you may create a problem getting a clear to even stay on over time.
