Cognoscenti 2005 "Di Fiore" For Sale
The Gabon ebony forearm and butt sleeve each have four floating points of curly maple in the `Di Fiore' (flower) design, separated by silver pinstripe and ivory spearhead inlays. The fancier version of the Cognoscenti sterling silver and ebony ringwork decorates the cue at A, B, C, D & E. Each ring has 30 pieces of sterling silver inside silver rings. There are a total of 168 pieces of silver inlay in this cue. The flat-faced black linen phenolic joint has the G-10 epoxy joint screw first introduced by Joe Gold. The G-10 glass epoxy joint pin is one of the reasons why Cognoscenti cues are known for their great hit, as well as their elegant look. It is finished with a black with white speck Irish linen wrap, and a black linen phenolic butt cap. Shafts have Melamine ferrules, one with a Sniper tip, the other with a triangle. Both shafts are 13mm. Butt weight is 15.5oz with both shafts being 3.6oz.'s Cue is in new condition with only a few test hits. Retail on cue is $4,475. Asking 3400.00 obo
