Is there anyone else out there that can drill the Cog Thread besides Gold himself?

I need to have a couple of extensions drilled for my favorite shafts.
thanks in advance.

7/16-11
I'm sure other cuemakers or a good repair guy could do it if they have a 7/16-11 tap

Joes threads are ground differently... You have to call Joe... You're probably wasting your time going somewhere else...

I can and will speak from experience.
I build Predator (and other brand) shafts to fit and match a Cog.
I use the Atlas supplied 7/16x11 tap.
I've never had a complaint regarding the fit or threads.
Kinda makes you wonder whose cues the Atlas tap was designed for ?

KJ

PS, I ain't makin no damn extensions.

I appreciate the input, already put in a call with Joe and no response....maybe he doesn't want to do extension either.

I'll get the 7/16-11 tap and try it out.
thanks.

Try him at between 7:30 and 8:30pm at the shop on weekdays. That's the best time to reach him..

I do not know the correct terminology but my local cue maker has a cutter (Not A Tap) that allows him to cut the threads directly with no issues. I have had him do many odd pins including Cognoscenti for LD shafts and never had an issue. I would think that other cue makers could do the same with the right tooling.
