I have a very nice Cognoscenti cue up for grabs. I am selling it for a friend who's father owned it and died not long ago leaving him with a lot of pool cues to deal with. Since the son is not a pool player he asked me to help him with all the cues. His father was a very good friend of mine for many many years.
So, here I am with my first listing on AZB. I have no feedback here but I do on Ebay with the same username as here. I would prefer a local sale to the Seattle area so a buyer can get a good look at the cue and be sure he wants it
The cue was played with to be sure. It is not a new never used cue so it does have a very few, very slight, dings in the forearm. The wrap is Irish linen and is very clean. No chalk color in the white specks.
The butt section rolls dead straight as does the shaft that does not have a joint protector on it. The other shaft has just a very slight wobble to it. Not enough to bother me and I would prefer it as it is a bit larger diameter shaft.
I did not find any dings in the shafts.
The butt section is 16.40oz. and is 28 7/8" not including the bumper.
The straight shaft is 11.82mm and 3.35oz.
The other shaft is 12.38mm and 3.55oz.
Both shafts are 29" not including the tip.
The tips as near as I can tell are layered tips but I do not know what kind.
A lot of the Good Stuff inlays and a lot of silver inlays! The Ebony is really something when you look at it close!
You can PM me here on AZB and I will provide a phone number if you want to discuss the cue or you an email me at hurricane145@Comcast.net .
We are asking $4500, sorry but no trades. Too many cues already!!
