Jimmy, those are some great stories, don't know if they surpassed my story on you Scotty Townsend marathon at my New Orleans pool room Racketeers. That was a truly great story, lol, keep a smile on that face Jimmy !
 
It was an honor meeting Cole Dickson in 1987 at California Billiards when it was on Steven's Creek Blvd. in San Jose, CA. He was escorting and stake horsing the GOAT Efren Reyes. He had a big personality, and exuded the hustler vibe.
 
knew cole and was friends for decades. introduced him to his wife. made money with cole in many things. i kept mine he couldnt.
cole played as good as anyone alive ever when he was right. alcohol got him. unfortunately later on he tried to steer me into a real bad trap that could cost me a ton. but i knew about it already. told him so. and distanced myself from him after that. you never double cross a friend. he should have known better but i guess being desperate makes people turn on anyone.
still he was what he was and cant take anything from him. and always fun to be around.
