Tempting, very tempting. I really like the look of this one and the Scruggs tribute you posted in the gallery. Can weight be added?

Bump, somebody buy this before I do, I need another cue like I need another hole in my head.
OK ...You win- I'll throw in the hole in your head . I have drill bits from 1/32 up to an inch. Just let me know what size and the exact location....LOL
On a serious note-thanks for the interest, I'm glad you like it-Jeff

All are now sold in this batch. The next batch will be (unless ordered for someone) Ebony/straight grain, Cocobola/straight grain, Bocote/Curly, Rosewood/Curly, Goncola Alves/straight grain. I am thinking of doing some SS 1/2 joints any thoughts?

Those Hoppe's and the alves cue look like great cues to play with.
Very nice work.
Thank you! I am bias, of course, but I think they all will be great players. I am a pretty decent player and have owned, or spent time with, just about every top makers cues as well as about all the production cues. I took detailed measurements, weights, balance points and notes about playability on most of them. I have tried to incorperate all of the things the "great players" had in common. I then took the spirit of what I thought were the best performance ideas and put my own "spin" on them. I certainly want my cues to look good and be loved by the owner but... I get a rush out of playing, watching and being around competitive pool. However, I would be board stiff at an art gallery.

I don't blame you for being bias.
That's really impressive, you've put a lot of thought into this.

The 1/2 SS joint question is interesting.
Players either like the 1/2 joint of they don't, no inbetween.
Personally, I like the 1/2 joint.
I never gave it a thought until someone told me they didn't like half joints.
In fact, that same person a few months earlier told me that they liked 1/2 joints.

Make one and give us your unbiased opinion

I think you'll like how they play. :)

I have had two full spliced cues with big pins (3/8x11 and Radial) with SS sleeved joints...one at 1/2" and the other at 3/4"...both flat-faced. Played/plays fantastically!!! Hands down my current favorite joint config.
