I have a Pool Cue that had a bad collar. It cracked and came off. I want to replace it. There are brass collars on bthe internet. Do these collars have to be machined to fit your cue ? I want to replace my collar with a brass or steel collar. I'm thinking of brass, is one better than another ? I have another cue that has a brass collar. That's my only reason, for thinking of brass. Also, If a collar has to be machined, any idea of a $ range ?? Thanks. Bob U.
