I selling it for a friend. All I know is that it's in exceptional condition.
If anyone has a specific question I will pass it on or put you in touch with him.

Got a little more info on the table: It was refurbished in 1985, came out of a local pool hall. It really is a beauty.

Monarch

Monarch is the type of rails on this . need to research model.

Not only that but the Southern looks like a 3 cushion billiard table not a pocket billiard model, Maybe he didnt look very close at the picture and forgot to notice the lack of pockets. LOL Its a nice looking old Monarch I have put together 2 in my 35+ years of table repair as well as a few other old Brunswick models!! I will say thats a very fair price for that table someone should snap it up, its a deal!!!

Table is not a monarch . Monarchs have a cast iron base with lions heads on the four corners. the Southern shown was a billiard table but could be pocket table. They came in both. Many billiard tables were actually converted.

As someone said earlier, it is NOT a Brunswick "monarch". Every one reads the nameplate incorrectly. it reads top to bottom. Monarch cushions. They were advertising their cushion. Cushion was really evolving and brunswick was pretty happy with their design.

it is a Southern.

The Southern was available as a carom or a pool table. If you looked at the link you would know that. If you think that is an antique Monarch then I know I do NOT want you touching any of my tables.

Sorry to derail the thread but ignorance cannot go unchecked. I hope the table gets sold
