In a few weeks have another trip for work, heading to New Albany OH which is about 15 mins from Columbus. Anyone know of the place to go there, maybe a tournament midweek? I'll be there probably Sunday evening 12th through end of the week.
Suzi-Cues off of state route 71. Nice room. I think I played in a pool tournament there about 15 years ago. That's the only one I am familiar with. 9ft tables, food and enclosed bar away from the pool room.
Could you message me which pool room you will be going to? Always nice to meet AZers in person and put a face to an avatar. In a few weeks have another trip for work, heading to New Albany OH which is about 15 mins from Columbus. Player's Family Billiards is great. They have a whole bunch of diamond tables (9 FT & 7 FT) and they have tournaments most Saturdays. The format changes every week 8-ball, 9-ball, one-pocket, singles, doubles, etc.
Check out their facebook page for upcoming tournaments: https://www.facebook.com/playersfamilybilliardsCBUS/events

Cushions Billiards is 10 minutes fron New Albany. Not sure if they are doing tournaments currently. Bankshot Billiards is in Hilliard, west side of Columbus. 10 ball tourney on Mondays, 9 ball on Wednesdays, and 8 ball on Fridays. Both are on Facebook if you want to look them up. Sportsmen closed a few years ago.
Do not know about Suzi-cues, have not been there in years. If you look on Bankshot Facebook page you can click on the links to see the brackets and info for the tournaments. They use Digitalpool and have the folks Fargo rates with their names. Probably wise to call ahead that day and make sure the tournament is still on for whatever night you want. Thanks, seems I have two places to pick from on Monday, if you know the area would you pick Bankshot or Suzi-Cues? I'd rather not head to one then find out they got 4 people and canceled the thing hehe. Does one usually get more players than the other?
