I see you are from Tallahassee. It may be a satisfying trip to go to a large tournament with some cue vendors. You will see a large variety of cues, talk to experts, determine exactly what you want and watch some great pool action.
 
you didnt agonize over a cue 20 years ago why now. just play. the cue or shaft isnt going to make any difference except in your mind.
