Coming to ATL This Weekend

Hey AZers me and some friends are most likely driving to ATL this weekend to shoot some good pool. I believe we will be playing somewhere called "The Pool Room" Our friend manages it, hes a member here too (sharkeyes). I believe it to be #1 in marietta GA. So dont be shy if your in the area, stop by and shoot some. We should be up there friday night and saturday. If you need to get ahold of me my number is 239-839-5072.

Paul, tell us a few details about this pool hall. How many pool tables, type etc. Any top players regularly play there? Who??? Any action, type etc.

The pool hall they are refering too is "The Pool Room 1". It's in Marietta right off of I-75. I got to number 2 in Duluth because it's closer to me and non-smoking. #1 is smoking but no alcohol on Sunday. It's an extremely nice pool hall. Their food is excellent. It is where they held the IPT tour. I see big name players come to Pool Room 2 a decent bit. Monica Webb and Helena Thornfeldt I see there a bunch. I don't believe it draws the names as Cues 2 but that is sort of an Altanta staple of pool.

I went to the Marietta one on Sunday to watch the IPT qualifier. From what I recall they had a VIP room with Gold Crown 4s. One row of Gandy Big Gs. 2 large rows (Where they held the IPT) of Olhausen Champion Pros. Another section of Gold Crown 4s black. And 1 12ft snooker T-rail.

I'm sorry that you guys didn't get to make it up here but there will be many more opportunities in the near future. When you guys (Kevin, paul, han, amy, po...etc.) wanna come up here, you have my number! Hope to see you in the future!
