Commentary on Streams

I was watching the Ustream of Bennet and Watson (thank you very much for putting it up, it's some of the best pool you'll see)

My question for those of you out there is, should there be no chat available to the commentators or at least should they not talk about it on matches which will be archived.

Lots of streams you'll be listening and you will here Bill4572 yes Tina is ok, or yes Kamakize123 Tony plays well, IMHO it takes away from the stream and the commentating.

I know that you can hit mute, but that's not a real solution, pool without volume is not fun. cough Keither cough Earl cough Scooter cough

I agree and I think some streaming operations do it that way. The two times I've done commentary, once with Joey, I was able to see the chat (kinda distracting from the match). The other time, with George Fels, I couldn't see the chat I thought that went much better.
