Commentators bias at US bar table

I saw this on Justin Bergman Facebook that has prompted a lot of comments albeit mostly in Justins favor.

I was wanting to ask if others have felt the same.

I have not bought the stream because with work I could not get my bank for my buck but from last years the sounds of Ken Shuman eating chips and blowing his nose in the mic was pretty brutal but not as brutal as Bobby Cottons absolute terrible observations and relentless story telling. He brings out the worst in Jay.

Bobby Cotton think everything is a hanger so doesn't need to commentate. Does he not realize most people watching probably amateur players and do not know what inside two rails or pinch draw means?

Anyway here is Bergaman comment :

Justin Bergman Hopefully they get some new commentators or at least one new one... I have had at least 5 people tell me one guy said I play to slow lmao... And said I was play dumb shots now I don't care because I know it isn't true but people paid $60 for this stream they don't want to hear MORONS
 
Jay and Cotton were being pretty rough on some players yesterday. Justin was making great shots and Jay would sound annoyed and say "well took him long enough" or something to that effect. It got pretty ridiculous.

I feel bad for the womens players. They are not top tier female pros or even decent mid level pros, but they were out there giving it there best, and they both wouldnt let up criticizing thier game and pre shot routines.

I think about it like this, if one day they want to show a friend or family member the video of the time they won the USBTC, they will have to listen to two guys criticizing them basically the whole match. Thats not very cool imo, but what do I know.

Its a tough task doing that all day, but dont let frustrations come through that everyone's not running out racks in less than a minute cause you're tired and want to go get a bologna sandwich and a scotch.
 
As great a player Bergman is he does take it seems a lot of extra time to shoot. He usually takes his cue to line up shots as he walks around the table, something you really only see amateurs do. He is a monster and I love the way he pockets balls but he can be annoying to watch.

i agree he defintely isnt the flashiest player but he is very methodical in his approach hence why he one of the best barbox 8 ball

but back to the bias point

obvious from reading other threads commentators are not only bias towards golden boy svb but they are being very disrespectful to the women players

great way to turn off players
