I have a cue lathe, tsp&b lathe like this one ...... http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=142555&highlight=lathe along with most of the major supplies (3/8 x 10, 5/16 x 18, 7/16 x 14 taps, various drill bits, 1/4" indexable tool set w/carbide tips, a complete set of Brianna products maintenance arbors ($260.00 on ebay) and tenon threader, and a few other tools of the trade and a spare belt for the lathe. I'll also throw in a couple cues/cue blanks I have in progress. Also included is several cue repair instructional DVDs (complete set of Unique Products DVDs and a Hightower DVD).
Also included is aprox. 200 various sizes of fiber ferrules (.75", 1.00", 1.25" in 12, 13, and 14 MM) and a few black phenolic tip/ferrule combos and a whole slug of various tips including ....... APROX 40 Royal Oaks, 60 Elkmasters, 70 LePro, 25-30 Chandiverts (Crown, Match, Rocky), 25 Triangle, 4 Moori, 3 Stingray, a Black Widow, a Sumo, 10 Snipers, and a couple others. (75% or so of all these tips are 14 MM, with some 12 and 13 MM making up the rest)
I will also throw in some glues and Epoxies I have and a bunch of various grits of sandpaper, some general repair parts such as some rings (white, black, and Alum), butt caps (Blk and Wht), joints (white, black and SS), pins (3/8 x 10, 5/16 x 14, 5/16 x 18), inserts for pins, dowels, tenons etc. Also included is a handy Plano over and under storage box and another storage container that holds most of what I have just listed neatly and securely to be able to take this stuff with you if you want to work on cues at tourneys, etc.
I easily have around/over $2 Grand invested in all this stuff and would love to keep it but I've been layed off for nearly 5 months now
(SUCKS!) and did finally get a new job but I'll be working 12-13 hrs a day at my new job and just won't have the time to be playing around with it much anymore so someone else who really wants to get started in cue repair, or someone who is already established looking for increased capabilities can get a GREAT deal here.
I'm looking to get $1250.00 FIRM ......CASH for the WHOLE package, I will NOT seperate it out, or I would possibly trade for a very nice cue worth at least that much that is like what I'll describe next.
I would love to have a classic styled cue w/notched diamonds inlays (ivory or mother of pearl) with some simple but elegant ringwork, possibly a Hoppe ring, WITH veneered points, wrap or wrapless doesn't matter, joint style doesn't matter. 18 to 19.5 oz range. Has to be a well known and reputable cue maker's cue.
If you are interested in this deal please PM me. I would prefer this package to be be picked up here in SE Iowa at my home especially if you are considering a trade for a cue, I'd like to see it up close first as I'm sure you'd like to see what you're getting as well.
This is just about a complete start-up package that might be PERFECT for the right individual here in the Mid-west. I'm willing to bet you can recover your total investment within a year or so if you really wanted to. I hate to sell it/trade it but I'm sure I'll get back into it in the future at some point in time when I have time to do it again.
Thanks for looking!
