composition of nelsonite

What is the solid material which is deposited in the wood cells from nelsonite?

I think the stuff is mostly linseed oil. I asked the maker if it was and he said yes.

Is the mechanism through which nelsonite works displacement of the moisture or sealing in the moisture controlling the release over an extended period of time? Linseed oil almost solely controls the release of the moisture preventing cell deformation caused by unequal stress when drying and consequently warpage. Powder residue would lend me to believe that displacement of the moisture, possibly drawing the moisture into the solids of the liquid(solids-once the base of linseed oil is evaporated). This would work kinda like dry acid. Possibly mixing muratic acid powder with water and soaking the wood into this solution would accomplish the same thing???
Does anyone have a can of nelsonite, can you report back with the active ingredients? I found this site two weeks ago-WOW!

In Adelaide (Australia) I can't get Nelsonite so I use a local made product -
Deeptreat by Spescoat -

Active Constituent TCMTB 6 grams per litre and
Solvent 900 grams per litre Hydrocarbon .

When dried or nearly dry on the wood it does smell kind of like raw linseed has been applied .
