Concord Mills NC area rooms??

Have a meeting in Concord Mills on Saturday and was looking to head down Friday afternoon. Can anyone recommend anything close by?

or is anyone looking to play some small sets, and kick back for the evening?

will also need a motel close as the one the meeting at is non smoking and I won't stay there Friday,

I will be in the area of Speedway Harley Davidson, near the Bass Pro Shop at the Marriott for the meeting Saturday

theres a pretty nice place in mathews i think it is, and theres the green room in pineville which is about 30 mins from concord. Green room seems to have more action
 
You will be real close to Smokin Cue and they have a tournament every saturday and usually some action you need to get on 485 south and get off at the exit for verizion ampitheater turn left and Smokin Cue is on the left in a strip shopping center called Wexford Plaza they have 16 nice 9 footers including 2 antique brunswicks,to get on 485 from 85 you go south about 1 mile from concord mills. Smokin cue is a great place to play,but be prepared for a large crowd. Everytime I've been there that place has been packed!
 
Thanks I will check it out. now am having problems getting a hotel room for Friday. seems the special olympics is in town and rooms are scarse, sat nite is set so I will keep trying.

There's an Embassy Suites that just opened up. It's so new that it may not even be listed on the 'net yet. Very fancy place though, and it's right there where you'll be.

There's several hotels right around that area. I'm very surprised you can't find a room for Friday.
 
I'll agree the SC or GR are solid choices.Been to both and played at both.Both are good rooms ime...but neither is a usual haunt.

TGR gets a little more talk down my way (about 30 minutes south) but it is closer then the Cue so thats to be expected I'd guess.

Find either and you'll be happy imo.
