Congratulation to Matt Krah's first place victory in a tough field consisting of Mike Davis, Danny Basavich, Steven Lillis, and Wali Muhammad. Matt Krah is also the Player of the Year in 2005 on the Blaze Tour.
I want to mention this because I think Matt is not only a great player but also a very modest gentleman. I would highly recommend Matt to any company who is looking to sponsor an up and coming player.

The Blaze 9-Ball Tour made its way to Raxx Billiards Bar & Grill in West Hempstead, NY, the weekend of April 22-23. Thirty-four players came out to the event—players such as Matt Krah, Mike Davis, Danny “Kid Delicious” Basavich, Steve Lillis, and Wali Muhammad, just to name a few.
Playing for the hot seat, Wali Muhammad jumped out to a 4-2 lead over his opponent, Matt Krah, but Krah came right back by winning the next 5 games to take the match 7-4, giving him the hat seat and sending Muhammad to the one-loss side.
Making a run on the west side was Mark Pantovic with wins over Mike Fingers 7-3, Mike Davis 7-6, and Muhammad 7-3 to reach the finals.
The final match between Matt Krah and Mark Pantovic ended before it began, as Pantovic forfeited because of personal problems, making Krah the victor.

4th Mike Davis
5th Beau Baer
