Contratulations Crown City Corey on your recent feature in Inside Pool.

LA certainly needs some promotional juice and maybe you and Jay H. would be a super team. Great venues like Hollywood and Hardtimes

Love the photos of Hardtimes and Little Al's "stairway to heaven" (where I got my first SP). Do you have an office in Al's shop?

Keep up the good work.

I got a kinda funny Little Al story,

I was going down to HT about every 8 weeks from stockton or sacramento. anyways one trip for what ever reason I got a in grown toenail that felt like a pair of vice-grips on my big toe, it was serious.

I knew Al more of a acquantance than a friend, I had played him in a tournemnt been in his shop many times. Etc. So I hobble up the stairs and int oAl's shop, he asked about the way I was walking, I explained that I had a infection and a massive ingrown toe nail that festered up since I left home 3 or 4 days before. I had all the tools I needed to fix it at home. And it took tools not clippers is was bad/deep and now infected.

Al being the compassionate man he is at my request said I could borrow any of his tools, box cutters, forcepts, hammers, even the lathe if necessary to cure my situation. I was very greatful, since I had been dealing with that problem for about 5 or 6 years I knew what It was going to take to get the job done, Al's tools were better than mine thats for sure.

In 15 minutes I performed a perfect sugery on my toe and closed theopen gaping wound with crazy glue on top not down inside(thats the best band ade ever). I steralized Al's tools, after getting the hard pieve of toenail out the pain was down by 80%. I offered him $10 or $20, I think $20 for the use of his operating room and tools. He wouldnt take the $$$, so I left it there on the bench. By the next morning I was fine.

It took about 15 years for that toenail to grow in the right way so I dont have that problem anymore, a Dr started it by cutting too deep, I went to him a few times but I could see he was juicing me. He created a problem that he thought he was the only one that could fix it-wrong, I dont mind seeing my own blood.

This might just be the honest to God weirdest Little Al Shop story ever
