Just wanted to say congratulations to John Higgins for his 4th World Snooker title, and also congrats to young Judd Trump (21) for his outstanding performance.

I feel slightly wrong about Higgins victory with what happened 12 months ago, but fairplay he's definately one of the best of all time. Just wish Trump had won for the good of the game.

That Judd Trump fellow has been on my list of players to watch for about a year now. He's the only player to best Ronnie O'Sullivan's record of executing a 147 maximum at the youngest age (14 years old, for Judd Trump). I like his style, too; he's not afraid to really whack shots hard -- putting lots of spin or follow/draw on the cue ball -- but still with a high degree of accuracy to tattoo the back of the pockets.

His 113 century break at the 2011 China Open is something to behold, for an exhibition of his cue power:

Agreed on both fronts. The game has closed ranks over Higgins, who was guilty as sin in my view.
