Congratulations, The Lion Alex Pagulayan - 2018 Canadian Billiards Champion!

The World Champion from the Pool Capital of the World took the 9-ball and 10-ball titles! And he came in 2nd in the 8-ball event! Hu-WAW! That is one uber-strong finish! And I kid you not!

Woot! Woot! Congratulations, Alex! Mabuhay!

How well was Alex playing? well, out of three events he lost one match. He won the 10b and 9b events undefeated and won the hotseat in the 8b event, but lost his only match to Jason Klatt.

It was nice to have Alex back in Toronto for a while.....
...but now he's back to living out of a suitcase again.
...he brightens any place with his personality.

He told me his itinary for the next while...it involves thousands of miles flying and driving.

The Lion...coming soon to a wall near you....

What was the payout?

What was the payout?

Small....but invitation and expenses for world championships in all three disciplines for
first and second finishers.

We have a big country with just the population of your state....so the money is more like
the European payouts...couple Gs first.

Jim Wych and John White have plans for bigger added money next year....
....and a Harley for a 147 in the snooker.
