Ernesto Dominguez beat Max Eberle 13-11 in the finals of the of the Final Pechauer West Coast Tour. It was quite exciting to watch, neither of them missed more than 3 balls the entire match. Congrats also to my friend Stan Tourengau who was the tour points leader, and he got to take home a nice $2000 Pechauer cue as a result!

It was a great match. Ernesto came in cold after sitting for a while being in the hot seat. But, he came in firing. Winning the first two games on beautiful runouts.
Max came back a ran a four racks on Ernest and was on his way to his fifth rack in a row but missed a straight in 6 ball.
They tied at 6. See sawed a few games then Ernesto went ahead 11-9.
Max came back winning and tying at 11 and made it a race to 2 contest.
Max ran the 23rd rackk but got tough on the 8 ball. He had to cut the 8-ball and cinch the 9. He made the 8-ball and missed the tough 9. Ernesto made a table length cut on the nine and went on the hill.
The next game they traded safeties ( Max safety is very much improved, I must say). Max kicked but scratched late in the rack. Ernesto had an easy 3-ball runout at the end to ice the win.

Hey Joey, where were you during the tournament? I was wondering if I might know you. During the finals match I was the guy sitting and chatting with Stan Tourengeau. By the way, did you get a chance to play in it? I was going to, but my friends took me out for my birthday the night before it began and I woke up too late.

LT, I sat next near the finals table by the adjascent table.
Right there next to that dumb basketball machine. lol
I turned wood last saturday so I couldn't play at all.
Not that I could beat those pros.
My friend Alex got in the money.
