On a serious note, I'm sure Shane is not content with this win. He will amass more major tournament wins, you can put that in the bank!

Sad thing is.....the people that downplay this great feat by claiming it was tarnished without the many Filipinos that sat this one out.

Congrats to a great champion!!!

Why come all this way just to watch Shane win, when they can stay home and all chip in and watch the stream.

Yeah, is was a foregone conclusion.

A contingent of 2 came, one accidentally made it to the finals. They're all marshmallows...

Congratulations to a great player. SVB would be a great ambassador for our game, to show the American people the great game of Billiards & Pocket Billiards. We need him on TV, so millions can see this young man play a great game.

SVB has shown on many occasions that he is similar to other great champions. He remains calm, puts the pieces together & collects his prize. He is still a gentleman at the end of the race.

Go get 'em young man, you have years & years ahead of you. You may even have an effect on other players, they may want to start practicing.

A truly great player of the "modern era", I'm sure we still have a lot to see from him.
Congrats for his 3rd US open, wow!!

The friend Shane was talking about at the end was Chad "Big Nasty" Pollman. People can say anything they want about Shane and how he plays or doesnt play.....he is something more important than his titles in my eyes and that is a true friend to those close to him and a total class act.

Congrats to my friend Shane on one more step in building his legacy.

SVB is really coming into his own. I was surprised how comfortable he was with the microphone. His mentioning of what Nasty meant to him was touching and he hit all the high notes in thanking everyone involved. Though he didn't mention his sponsors the fact that he's 3 time US Open champ speaks volumes for their products and companies. The man is a killer on the table and he has a real shot at 6 or more of these Championships.
