Would anyone here know if there are nice places to play in Ct? Preferably in the New Haven area. I was thinking about going to law school there, but I want to know if I they have decent pool halls.

When i say nice places to play I'm thinking about the atmosphere, any weekly tournaments, A level or pro players.

Plenty of nice rooms within an hour of there. Action Billiards and Ultimate Billiards come to mind but I bet there's 10 quality rooms within 90 minutes of New Haven.

Try going to http://www.playpool.com/finders/poolhall.html and doing a search based upon New Haven.

I've been to Action Billiards it is pretty nice. I've never been to Ultimate, I hear it's pretty nice, but their tables are supposed to be extremely fast.

Bristol billiards in bristol, obviously, some pro players stop by there occasionally. Shooters in southington, boston billiards I think it is called in Fairfield, all within 45 minutes of New Haven
