We have not been, we attempted to resolve through estate lawyer but little to no communication has occurred either from the Attorney nor the Family. So were are left with small claims filings.
This is just awful and scandalous. Joe’s passing is the awful part and his heirs is the scandalous part.
What they are doing, how they are behaving not only soils Joe’s reputation and how he is remembered
but it is borderline criminal behavior. What’s worse is attorneys for the family aren’t cooperating with
the original cue owners who are simply trying to get their pool cues returned. Describe this any way
you prefer but it just comes down to dishonesty and theft. If Joe were alive, it would be very different.

They should have slowly returned cues once they had reasonable assurance they were going back to their owners. They probably could had done that with high confidence. If some scammer had enough info and details to scam one or two, just pay the owners for those cues.

Anyone owed a cue needs to join together in legal action and share legal fees. If 5 or 10 did so, the costs would be reasonable. If you can prove they acted wrongly by depriving owners of their property, you may be able to also recover legal fees.
