Selling my Spain pronged Guffey

hello all,

I have my eye on another cue for the collection and I am going to buy it ( go figure) and I am in need of dollars to spend that wont be seen by my wife taken from the general fund. I am sure we have all been in that spot before

The cue is an early John Guffey. 6 point # 29 Spain Blank made of ebony and BEM (stained grey). the joint is elephant ivory, 1 1/4 inch long with a short 3/8x10 pin. The wrap is black w/ blue speck linen. The buttsleeve is matching veneer strips in maple with ebony rings bordering it. The buttcap is ivory substitute of some kind. The cue comes with one 30 inch long shaft, about 12.9mm with a very long meucci style taper ( has some flex to it) fiber ferrule and lepro tip. The cue has a minor roll to it in the butt and shaft, but overall straight and very playable. It hits nice, I have been playing with it here lately with a pred shaft on it and loving it.

Once again the only reason I am selling is because I need the cash for another cue!!

SOLD

Thanks and God Bless

Ryan

I am trying to raise capital for a cue I have my eye on and my wife is non to thrilled about spending another 1K+ without thinning out some of my other cues and this is the only one that I am willing to sell right now.

Thanks and God Bless,

Ryan

Whoever got this cue is getting a real gem! I emailed pictures to Joel Hercek and he confirmed that it was in fact a Spain blank. I know a few people who were concerned that it might be an Adams blank or something else. Maybe that is why it didn't fly out of the hands of the owner. I have only seen 4 other 6 prong blanks before. This may have been one the previous owner should have kept for his/her collection. What a steal. I was trying to sell one of my cues to get this one.
