Converting a Brunswick 5 X 10 to a 4 1/2 X 9

Don't be in a hurry. Take your time and get the word out that you want to trade or sell your table. It's a beautiful table and I'm sure there is someone near you that wants it. Too bad Blatt's won't trade you one of the smaller tables for it. If I didn't already have one myself and lived closer, I'd be interested.

OK y'all. You got me. I won't have it made smaller. Any buyers out there?

Glad you came to your senses. Why not just improve your pool and enjoy it. I wish I had the space for a 5X10 because I would like one. If I had the space a 10K offer on your table would be forthcoming. I know you want an offer, not an "I would offer if..." but I can't imagine that you can't sell it. I just need my dream house and I want a billiard table AND a 5X10 pool table. That will require a bit of space. Powerball drawings tho. :D

LOL, you read my mind (and others' too, I assume) with the dream house idea. If money were no object, the first thing I'd do is buy a mansion of some kind, and get to work on setting up a 5x10 pool table, a 4.5x9, a 6x12 snooker table, a billiard table, and might as well throw a barbox in there too. Maybe even one of those funky modern art elliptical billiard tables. ;)

If I hit the lottery, you are all invited to the ribbon cutting ceremony. :D Of course, I'd still probably have to move out of California, because winning the lottery still isn't enough to afford a mansion here. :p

please don`t cut that table up!

i started playing on a 5x10 at age 15 ..it was one of the few around at that time in jersey city (1950) we played straight pool for time (.60cents an hr.) and 9 ball usually on saturday.(.15cents a rack) we played .25cents on 3&6 and .50 on 9....If you have room ,keep that table and you will find you will be a better player on the 4.5x9....The room was called willie fregara`s on palisade ave in the jersey city heights (also had a 5x10 billiard & four other 4.5x9`s ...curious if any of you out there are from that era& area...
