Ran into an old house Cue that I have No dea as to who it was made by. It is a Four Point Full Spliced house Cue, I believe is 35-40 YEARS Old.

Is it possible to Rurn it Down, Install a Koint, and make it into a Sneaky Pete with out Costing an Arm & Leg.

Also where Should I Cue the Cue in Half to make it the most Workable Assembly to Convert?;)

Very easily. As far as completing the job and costs can very greatly on the diameter of the cue at the midway point as that is where it should be cut and what type joint you are refering to and what you mean by "turn it down". For a true "Sneaky Pete" type cue where it is just wood to wood or if a phenolic joint ring is desired then almost any size will work. If a steel joint is wanted, then the half way point should be in the area of .830 to .860. Larger or smaller than this will cause difficulties.

A lot of older house cues, although very large on the butt end are very small at the midpoint but usually still can be cut and a pin installed. Prices for this type work flucuates greatly depending on what part of the country and who does the work. To simply cut a house cue, install a radial pin and lightly sand so that butt and shaft are a good fit I charge 35.00. Others may charge more or less.

Check the butt size. It may need to be cutt down just to get it in your case. To cut & make a 2 piece out of a house Q, I charge $50 (if I don't have to turn it to a smaller size). This includes a 1/4" off white joint ring on the shaft...JER
