im sure alex knows his games but I agree it looks photoshopped by having all those windows and not much light glare in the room, and the table shadows look odd

not that the table is fake, or doesn't exist just the whole image looks fake

I've heard a lot of different names, depending on who is playing...often it's a form of Bocce,
The game played on a lawn.
I see three or four variations played on this type of table and throwing the ball or using a
cue is optional. I don't know much about the rules, I'm just a spectator..
Most of the Italian rooms in my area have one of these tables.

The joke has to be on me. That picture is computer generated, clearly computer generated, not photoshopped, its a rendering (though some elements could have been shopped in post rendering). It is certainly NOT real.
