You could look at it this way, Chuck...
....some of these are great tables that are worth preserving.
I bought a Gold Crown 1 a few years ago....it had been in a home for 25 years and had
only been clothed once....showroom condition.
It became the main action table in a room in my area.
Once upon a time there was a sad, sad pool table.
He was sad because no one would play pool on him. Mostly they just put laundry on him.
Every Christmas, though, the children of the home would use him to help wrap presents.
The rail were very good at holding the package while the people would wrap red ribbon around it.
Then one day there was a knock on the door. Who could that be, asked the table.
And in walked pt. He said, you have a table and I have a cue, maybe we can get together?
Oh, how happy the table was! Finally, some one wanted to play pool on him. Oh the joy he felt (get it, felt) as the balls rolled over his bed.
And the table lived happily ever after.
The end.
