Okay, it isn't "my" technique.
I learned it in one of Brandon Gramse's videos: rail kick around a blocking ball via double-the-distance.
But it was lots of fun to see Shane measuring out the shot with his cue stick from the ball to the rail, and then from the rail to the double-distance. In the SBE finals vs. Hohlman. I've graduated to where I don't need to use the cue stick to measure the distance...I guess Shane will too if he practices more
