hey guys,
so i've read previous posts regarding core size, however i had a question regarding the choice of wood.
i know that maple is most commonly used and that purpleheart is sometimes used (could be wrong about this one).
however, has the use of other woods been used, like ebony or rosewood. and would the use of harder woods create a harder/crisper hit vs a softer woods making a more soft/dull hit.
i know that it would increase cost of a cue, but just wondering if it would create a different hit and if anyone has had experience w/ it.
thanks
jason
