Cored Cue

 What are the differences between a cored and non-cored cue? Such as the feel, balance, hit etc. Is there a way to tell which type you have?

Thanks

Your best bet is to ask the maker, A lot of us core, then there are those who partially core, and then there are those who don't believe in coring.

cored/laminated cue

Come to Valley Forge and try the cues (booth 94), or ask the cuemaker. Most definitive way IMHO. If you are unable to, talk to Martin at westerncue.com, and get a tester cue for a refundable deposit. Answering your question, it is an additional way to adjust the balance point of your cue. Best of luck in your search, Kent

And not all who core, core all their cues. It depends on wood, weight, balance points etc for me.
